Gabrielle Moorhead


Since joining Grand Central Bakery as a wholesale sales representative in 1995, Gabby Moorhead has overseen the tremendous growth of wholesale bread sales for the iconic brand in Seattle as well as a robust retail presence, with three strong bakery-cafes including the flagship Pioneer Square location.

Moorhead has held leadership roles as Interim Retail Director and Marketing Manager for the bakery, which introduced artisan bread to Seattle in 1989 and expanded to Portland in 1993. Now the company’s Wholesale Director, she is responsible for leading mission-driven wholesale concept development and the wholesale growth strategy in both Seattle and Portland. Her role directly supports Grand Central’s mission of serving customers delicious, authentic food made from high quality local and sustainable ingredients while growing a healthy values-driven business. An avid baker and onetime owner of an eclectic wedding cake company, Gabby can be found in her off hours volunteering on the board of Northwest Hope & Healing or on the soccer fields and ski slopes with her husband and two daughters.
